Aslan Aydin

Honours Student

Aslan is in the fourth year of their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Honours Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Waterloo. They are interested in the multisensory nature of language comprehension. Outside the lab, Aslan enjoys singing with the University of Waterloo a cappella club and spending time with their cat. 

Risheena Banerji

Honours Student

Risheena is in her final year of Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology with a Research-Intensive Specialization. She is currently working on her honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Katherine White, investigating how children interpret and respond to variations in pronunciation. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading and traveling. 

Erin Beaton

Honours Student

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Primary/Junior Education from Queen’s University, and is currently completing an Honours Psychology post-degree program at the University of Waterloo. She is interested in how children learn to understand language and communication by using pragmatic cues. Outside of the lab, Erin enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her friends, family, and dog!

Brooke Johnston

Honours Student

Brooke is in her fourth year of the Honours Psychology Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Waterloo. She is interested in how children use disfluencies in speech to make predictions. Outside the lab, Brooke enjoys paddleboarding and playing guitar.

Kylie Lambert

Honours Student

Kylie is currently in her last year of the Honours Psychology program at the University of Waterloo. She is interested in how audiovisual speech perception affects children’s language development. Outside the lab, Kylie enjoys reading and watercolour painting!
