We developed a best practice guide for conducting "Return Discussions" in Canada. Our project explored how return discussions can manage the risks of repeat missing incidents by providing support to connect persons living with dementia to services and other supports.
We engaged key stakeholders for our project, including:
- Search and rescue personnel
-
First responders: police in municipal, provincial, and federal law enforcement agencies, fire departments, paramedics
We ensured the evaluation process was inclusive of key stakeholders, including people living with dementia and their families.
