Graduate student honours

Many of University of Waterloo's graduate students have received awards for their theses and dissertations. Some of these awards include the prestigious Doctoral Prize from the Canadian Mathematical Society, and the Pierre Robillard Award from the Statistical Society of Canada.


The Canadian Mathematical Society's Doctoral Prize is an award given to a doctoral student who graduated from a Canadian university the year prior. This award recognizes outstanding work and performance of a doctoral student.
