  2. July 17 to 21, 2017SiGMa 2017: Workshop on Structure in Graphs and Matroids

    Organizers: Jim Geelen (UW), Peter Nelson (UW), Luke Postle (UW), Stefan van Zwam (Louisiana State University) 

    The Workshop on Structure in Graphs and Matroids is the premier event in the Structural Matroid Theory community. The workshop runs every two years; previous locations are Sittard, Maastricht (twice), and Eindhoven (all in the Netherlands) and Princeton. This year we are holding it in Waterloo as part of the Tutte centennial celebrations and the celebration of C&O and of the Math Faculty at 50.

  3. July 26 to 27, 201750th Anniversary - Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science Conference

    The conference will feature plenary talks by internationally recognized speakers who are graduates or have strong links to the Department. There will also be a session on the history of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Waterloo and in the rest of Canada. Stories from alumni of life at, and after Waterloo will be shared.
