Administrative history: The Inter-Mennonite Conference (IMC), formed in 1973, began a period of formal cooperation between the Western Ontario Mennonite Conference (WOMC), Conference of United Mennonite Churches in Ontario (UM), and the Mennonite Conference of Ontario and Quebec (MCOQ). In 1988, the three conferences merged into the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada (MCEC).

Custodial history: Transferred to the Archives following the dissolution of the Inter-Mennonite Conference

Scope and content: Consists primarily of minutes and correspondence of various IMC bodies. While the three conferences operated independently until 1988, the fonds illustrates their increasing cooperation through meetings and common projects. One major initiative was the development of pastoral leadership training. Joint meetings of the conference executives and mission boards (particularly of the WOMC and MCOQ) predate, and helped lead to, the creation of IMC.
