Sudip has completed his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in the year 2021. He has broad research experience in the area of droplet-based microfluidics, particularly experimental microfluidics. He has extensively used many advanced experimental measurement techniques such as Infrared Thermography, micro-Particle Image Velocimetry (μ-PIV), micro-Laser Induced Fluorescence (μ-LIF), Fluorescent Microscopy, High-Speed Imaging, and many more, to solve his research problems. During his Ph.D., he has explored the different aspects of magnetic field on controlled maneuvering of the internal dynamics of a droplet flow field. The consequence of the research has demonstrated a potential way by which various physical processes such as droplet evaporation, mixing, and energy transfer, can be suitably controlled. Presently, he is working on exploring the various facets of wetting-related phenomena under the purview of open-surface-based droplet microfluidics. He is currently involved in projects related to capillarity and wetting.
