Weijia Cui

Weijia Cui is a postdoctoral researcher in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, working in Professor Carolyn Ren’s group, where he also earned his Ph.D. His postdoctoral research focuses on developing a microplastics sensor for water systems. He uses nanomaterials to capture microplastics, enabling their detection through a specially designed microwave sensor.
