Sandani Buddhima selected as 2024 Master’s Scholar by Environmental Research & Education Foundation
Congratulations to team member Sandani Buddhima on being selected as a 2024 Master’s Scholar by the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF)!
Sandani’s research investigates the drivers of spatial and seasonal variation of methane emissions from capped landfills in Southern Ontario and contributes to Activity 1 on this project. Sandani will analyze how variables such as air temperature, soil moisture, atmospheric pressure, precipitation, and wind affect methane fluxes, providing valuable insights into landfill management practices for developing strategies for reducing methane emissions.
