Kyle Daun is a leading international expert in radiative transfer and optical diagnostics, which includes the spectroscopic principles that underlie hyperspectral infrared imaging. He is a member of the Canadian Emissions Reduction Innovation Network that has the objective of developing technological solutions that reduce methane emissions from oil and gas production. Through his work, Kyle uses infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging for quantifying methane emissions.
