Ivan Kochetkov

My research project is focused on the interfaces in lithium batteries. I study the interfaces formed between electrolytes and electrodes in Li-ion and Li-S batteries with liquid and solid-state electrolytes. By combining electrochemical techniques (i.e., cycling and impedance spectroscopy) with surface analysis via XPS, ToF-SIMS, etc., I investigate the interfacial stability and search for approaches towards its improvement.
