Michelle Faerman

Michelle currently works as a Research Associate at the Neurocognition and Mobility lab. She completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology (Neuroscience Specialization) at the University of Waterloo in Fall 2022. In her master’s thesis, Michelle used electroencephalography and event-related potential analysis to investigate the relationship between trait anxiety and cross-sensory distractor inhibition. Michelle is currently involved in several large-scale projects investigating Freezing of Gait (FOG) in PD. Her research interests lie at the intersection of cognition, mood, and brain health.
