In April 2012, the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) raised questions regarding the governance structure of the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA) as it pertains to academic integrity. CAUT threatened to censure the administrations of the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University in the event its concerns were left unaddressed.

Sharp students at the University of Waterloo are putting together a conference on what gives successful people their edge.

And not just any conference: This one comes under the TEDx brand, where the typical participant wraps up the day with a head full of inspirational stories and a longer list of contacts.

Except sometimes, it does. This spring, Lee was one of three winners to pick up $5,000 in a campus giveaway.

But instead of having the maddest spring break on record, Lee turned around and gave half of it away in a $2,500 donation to the high school scholarship he won just a few years earlier.
