Graduate student play an integral role in leading research projects with the Occupational Biomechanics and Ergonomics Lab (OBEL) research program. During graduate training, students enhance their critical thinking, problem solving, and data science skills.
Early engagement in research and development is an important way to extend and reinforce classroom learning. Undergraduate students routinely engage in OBEL as volunteers, interns, co-op students and undergraduate thesis researchers.
