OBEL Welcomes new students to the team

OBEL is excited to welcome a new group of innovative, motivated and creative students to the team.

OBEL welcomes:

Uma Lad, Daniel Armstrong and Nick Patrick as incoming gradate students each pursuing an MSc in Biomechanics. Uma and Daniel have been engaged with OBEL since undergrade, each completed 4th year thesis projects (KIN 431/432) within our research program.  Nick is a former UWaterloo Kin grad and after some time away has decided to return to UWaterloo Kin to advance his knowledge-base and skill set to emerge as a strong candidate for a career in human factors / ergonomics.

Matt Girodat, Eddy Madou, Carmel Leung, Michelle Boileau, Brynna Yap, Brianna Hanson, Simrat Kang, and Sarah Cairns join the OBEL team as they each continue to complete a BSc in Kinesiology.

Matt and Eddy will lead there own 4th year thesis projects fulfilling course requirements for KIN 431/432. Carmel, Michelle, Brynna, Brianna and Simrat will take part in OBEL research, gaining first hand experience while interning, fulfilling to course requirements for KIN 391.  Sarah joins OBEL as a research assistant Co-op student, working hard to support the Canadian Paramedic Health and Wellness Survey (CPHWS) project being led by OBEL.  

It's an exciting time of year and we welcome our new members to the OBEL team!
