The University of Waterloo's School of Optometry and Vision Science, in collaboration with the Ontario Association of Optometrists, is thrilled to announce the 2024 version of our in-person continuing education program to carry on the legacy of the annual continuing education fundraiser once hosted by the Vision Institute of Canada!

A course to enhance knowledge and skills in laser procedures commonly used to treat anterior segment disease and minor surgical procedures commonly used for eyelid lesions.

Canadian Optometrists are faced with a need to continuously update their knowledge and skills to be best prepared to face the challenges of changing scope and an evolving health care environment. This 30-hour COPE (pending) course in glaucoma, oral TPA, and lab testing is designed based on best practices for adult learning in the medical field.
