Dr. Kai Cao

Born in Wuhan, China, Kai graduated from East China University of Science and Technology with a Master degree in Material Science and Engineering. He moved to Canada and joined Xiaosong Wang’s group in spring, 2012 as a PhD candidate.

His PhD project focuses on the synthesis of main-chain metal containing polymer via migratory insertion polymerization. Out of the lab, he enjoys playing billiards and cooking Chinese dishes.
