Salary increases at the University are governed by several memoranda of agreements between the University, the faculty association, the staff association, and the CUPE collective bargaining unit. The current agreements are in effect for 2018-2021 and have proceeded as scheduled. In previous times of economic uncertainty, these agreements have been altered in accordance with provincial legislation mandating salary freezes for the public sector through legislation, and in the absence of such direction from the Government of Ontario, we are upholding our agreements with our employees.
