How do you plan to address this change to campus culture due to isolation? How can we make campus culture more inclusive and accessible to everyone?

We understand that this has been an incredibly stressful time, and the mental health of our campus community is of the upmost importance to us. In order to ensure that everyone feels supported even while off campus, Counselling Services is currently providing services by phone between Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. These services are free to Waterloo students registered in academic studies or on co-op. University of Waterloo employees and their dependent family members have a range of health and wellness services under the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), provided by Homewood Health Inc.™ Homewood Health offers short-term, confidential counselling that currently includes telephone or online sessions for a variety of reasons. These sessions are complimentary to the UWaterloo employee benefits program and is of no additional cost to employees.
