The University is absolutely committed to the goals set out in our Strategic Plan and our internationalization strategy, however we understand that many of the ways that we typically engage globally have been challenged due to travel restrictions and the changes to remote working and learning environments. We will continue to put the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff at the forefront of our thinking and will follow the advice of government and health officials with respect to travel. Although this may cause a pause in some of our activities and eliminate some of the opportunities in the short-term, Waterloo continues to be committed to our standing as a global institution and will resume these functions when it is both permitted and safe to do so.
