Moving academics online was not an easy decision, but necessary to ensure the safety of our students during the pandemic and adhere to current advice from our government and local authorities, while still supporting students with their academic progression. At this time we have announced our plans for the fall term, which will be delivered mostly online with some in-person classes and supports if conditions allow.
Additionally, the University is launching a program called Waterloo Ready to help new students navigate adjusting to life and academics at the University of Waterloo. The program will give you the opportunity to connect with other students, learn more about your faculty, and get ready for your first year as a Waterloo Warrior.
