Message to Campus: See you at Canada Day 2013!

Monday, June 24, 2013

If you’ve participated in Canada Day celebrations at the University of Waterloo before, you know they’re not to be missed.

For 28 years running, our celebration at Columbia Lake playing fields has provided family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a beautiful fireworks display for the whole community to enjoy.

But this year, we’re taking it a step further. The University of Waterloo has strengthened its partnership with the Federation of Students to create a bigger, better celebration than ever before. With activities, music, and special features for every age and interest, this will be a Canada Day to remember.

Invite your family and friends to join us. Canada Day is a uniquely special opportunity for the University of Waterloo to give back – to our students, faculty, staff, to their families, and to the entire Waterloo community that we call home.

Help us to give back by bringing your guests, having a great time, and honouring Canada at the best celebration in town!

Sincerely,

Feridun Hamdullahpur
