Our Executives work together to run many social and academic events throughout each term to help enhance your undergraduate experience and provide a way to connect with your fellow psych majors.
The types of events we run at the Psychology Society are done using your feedback - you have the power to make a change! If you think there's an important type of event missing from our core events below, let us know!

Every term, we offer educational, networking and social events!
Hybrid Medical School Seminar
The Hybrid Medical School Webinar was a partnership with St. George University featuring Forensic Pathology Fellow, Dr. Jonathan Lai, and the Associate Director of Admissions. In this event, participating students had the opportunity to ask questions about the admission process for SGU, residency, fellowship training and more.
Plus, the first 25 in-person attendees had the benefit of getting free pizza and bubble tea! It was an informative and engaging Q&A session, and we thank all participants and our guests!
Drinks with the Profs
Working in the fields of Organizational/Industrial, Cognitive/Neuroscience, Developmental, Social, and Clinical Psychology, our professors collectively offer an opportunity to explore a plethora of unique research interests. It is a chance to network and ask our featured guests questions about their current work, while having a drink.
Whether your goals are to complete an Honours Thesis or to simply satisfy your own curiosity about a topic you've been wondering about, you can meet our professors, have a drink and ask away!

- UW Chemistry Club | UW Physics Club
- The Earth and Environmental Science Club (Watrox) | UW Biomedical Science Students
- UW Aviation Society | Feminist Physics (FemPhys)

Getting Involved in Research
An excellent opportunity to hear about potential research pathways as an undergrad from our guests - Honours and Directed Study students relaying their personal academic experiences. Participants who stayed later got to join the PSYCHSOC mixer where free snacks were provided. A true bonding and educational experience!
