Dylan Tan (He/Him)
4A Honours Science Psychology (co-op) Minor in Computing
Hi everyone! My name is Dylan and I'm the President of PsychSoc. My main role is to represent the entire psychology student body. I support all other members of Psych Soc, overseeing committee functions, logistical planning, and ensuring we maintain our goal to better the quality of student life at UWaterloo and provide essential services and resources for you to achieve your goals. I am also responsible for establishing and maintaining external relationships with various organizations both within Waterloo and Off-Campus. (WUSA, ASU, SciSoc, etc.)
Fun Fact: My PB for the Half Marathon is 1:30:56
Favourite Food: Sushi
My favourite course was Psych 390 with Dr. Risko. Felt this was the most applicable to my research goals and was such a fun environment to learn!

Nikki Tokat (She/Her)
3A Honours Arts Psychology (Research Intensive Specialization)
My role as Vice President consists of supporting other executives, planning meetings, assisting the president, maintaining student-society relations and more!

My favourite psych course is Psych 354 (interpersonal relationships)! I find the dynamics of close relationships really interesting and I think that we could all benefit from learning more about it!

Rhyanna Korschin (she/her)
3B BSc Psychology, Minor in Biology
Hello everyone! I'm Rhyanna (pronounced rye - anne - uh) and I am currently a Communication Director with PsychSoc. My role involves keeping up with our social media posts, as well as connecting with faculty and organizations to create amazing and impactful events!

My favourite course is probably PSYCH 257 - Psychopathology! I enjoyed getting to learn about different mental illnesses - specifically personality disorders and all their characterisitcs. I really appreciated this course for helping me find my niche, and guiding me towards what I want to do in the future!

Sujude Kabbar
2A Life Science, Psychology Major, Minor in Neuroscience
Hey everyone, I’m Sujude, and I’m in 2A in psychology with a minor in neuroscience and I will be the Events Director for this year. As Events Director for PsychSoc, I lead the strategy and execution behind events that energize and unite the psychology student community. From concept to curtain call, I handle logistics, collaborate with faculty and peers, and consistently deliver experiences that people talk about long after they’re over.
Fun fact: I love climbing mountains and biking

Favourite Psychology Course: I absolutely loved Developmental Psychology (PSYCH 211) because it has the ability to explain the 'why' behind the various human mechanisms that shape who we are.

Jia Crasto (She/Her)

As Events Director, I’m all about creating engaging, inclusive, and memorable experiences for our community. Whether it’s a themed social, a wellness-focused workshop, or a stress relief session during exam season, I bring energy, creativity, and just the right amount of chaos to every event. Also, snacks. Always snacks!!
Fun Fact: I’m a huge fan of Disney musicals—nothing beats a good singalong!
Favourite Food: Peri-Peri fries are absolutely addictive!!
My favourite Psych course is PSYCH 207: Cognitive Psychology I love this course because it dives into how we think, learn, and process the world around us. From memory and attention to decision-making and language, it’s all about what makes our brains tick!

Hey everyone! My name is Khushi Tyagi. I will be taking on the role of Social Media Director, which makes me responsible for creating the content we post on our social platforms, as well as interacting with our community through those platforms in a meaningful way, while also promoting all the events and announcements by PsychSoc!

Favourite Psychology Course: Psychopathology (PSYCH 257), it was so interesting and fun to learn about all the different psychological disorders and go into depth about them.

My favourite Psych course is PSYCH 253: Social Psychology. This course really focuses in on how the social aspects of our lives influence our behaviours. It really draws the connection between theory and practical real life situations where concepts can be applied!

Hi everyone! My name is Sara Gojsevic (She/Her). I am newly a Retail Director for PsychSoc where my role pertains to managing inventory, merchandise, operations and finances for the lovely Tuck shop.

Favourite Psychology Course: Child Psychopathology (PSYCH 317). I always had a love for learning about disorders and how to treat them, but seeing the nuances in child psychopathology in comparison to adult psychopathology really opened my eyes to how diverse clinical psychology can be, furthering my love for this niche!

Hi! My name is Marielle Medalla. I will be taking on the role as the Website Director for the upcoming fall term. I am essentially in charge of regularly updating the PSYCHSOC website with club events and member information.

As Marketing Coordinator, I’ll support the Graphics and Social Media Directors in creating content for Instagram. I’ll also help promote PsychSoc and PMP events, design engaging visuals, and capture live content to connect students with opportunities in psychology.

I’m the creative director and videographer my job is to create engaging visual content that highlights our events, showcases student experiences, and helps build a strong sense of community within the Psychology Department.

Favourite Psychology Course: Environmental Psychology (PSYCH 372) is my favourite psych course and a course I recommend to everyone because I learned that our built spaces impact our psychological well-being more than you might think.

Hi everyone! My name is Marley Mulhern. I am looking forward to my role as an interpersonal PMP! I work alongside our amazing team of PMP coordinators as an interpersonal PMP coordinator. In this role, I help create a welcoming, comfortable, and fun environment for our psychology students through PSYCH SOC events and interactions. My goal is to uplift and support students as they grow and develop academic and professional careers.

Hi everyone! I’m Christie and I am PMP's Academic Coordinator. My role is to help students make the most of the resources available to them, whether that’s planning courses, exploring opportunities, or working toward their academic goals. I also organize events like study sessions and info sessions to support student success!
