The admissions team interacts directly with prospective students, parents, applicants, alumni, staff, and faculty to provide services and support that lead to a positive student experience. The team is responsible for:
- supporting a positive prospective student experience through incredible service, including through participation in recruitment initiatives;
- making sure that the diverse domestic and international incoming class reflects qualified students;
- ensuring that admissions decisions are made in a fair, consistent, and justified manner;
- admitting students in a manner that supports student success and the University’s enrolment targets;
- playing a direct role in the development and implementation of the institution’s Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) plan and supporting the financial security of the University;
- providing strategic advice relating to procedure, policy, pathways, and partnerships relevant to admissions; and
- liaising with a broad range of partners both on and off campus.
The team is led by the Associate Registrar, Admissions, André Jardin.
