Invasive Phragmites management Story Map is now live!

The Long Point Peninsula Invasive Phragmites Management Outcomes Story Map, highlighting the successes of the long-term management program in Long Point marshes, is now live! The interactive Story Map, created by Waterloo Wetland Lab alum, Grace Lew-Kowal, can be accessed online.

The Story Map details the positive impacts on waterfowl forage quality, Species at Risk populations, barn swallow habitat quality, and carbon sequestration, and provides links to graduate student theses and peer-reviewed journal articles that were directly informed by this research.
