Andrew Kramarenko
I received my bachelor's in Environmental Studies from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine.
Now I am a participant in a research exchange program in Canada.
My current research focuses on the dynamics of changes in wetland food value for important waterfowl species following the removal of the invasive species Phragmites australis from the ecosystem at a Ramsar wetland and an international birding site on the northern shore of Lake Erie, Long Point and Big Creek National Wildlife Areas. The invasive Phragmites australis invades waterfowl habitats and increases its presence in their diet, displacing native plant species.
