Join us Thursday, June 9th from 1-3 pm ET for our special workshop hosted by Melissa Zettel! This workshop recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic had and continues to have an ongoing impact on our moods, thoughts, and behaviours. This workshop will provide information around the impact on our nervous system, space to reflect on both growth and challenges of the last year and orient yourself to the on-going changes of this pandemic. The goal is to facilitate meaningful conversations around what works best for you when re-entering your world.
Melissa Zettel (She/Her) is one of the Embedded Wellness Co-op Counsellors. Melissa is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University. She completed her Master of Social Work at University of Waterloo.

His COMPASS System is a prospective cohort study following over 75k Canadian youth to evaluate how ongoing and real-world changes to programs, policies or built environment resources surrounding youth impact multiple health behaviours and outcomes over time.
Join us Tuesday March 22nd from 11-12pm for our Lunch and Learn with Laura Bredahl, a Bibliometrics and Research Impact Librarian from the UW Library. The audience will learn about improving the discoverability of your personal bibliometrics and how this might be helpful throughout your career.
This interactive webinar covers the basics of bibliometrics, commonly used bibliometric indicators and discusses the importance of the responsible use of bibliometric data. You will also be introduced to tools that will help you discover and control your bibliometric data and discover aggregated and normalised bibliometric data for groups of papers and for institutions.
At our second Peer Mentorship meeting of Fall 2021 we will be discussing 'Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Grad School'. After a brief presentation students will have the opportuinty to speak to upper years regarding their experiences.

Dr. Skinner will be sharing her expertise of community-based health and social projects related to food, nutrition, food security, primarily with people living in northern locations in Canada and more recently with Indigenous organizations located in urban settings.
