To kick off the new year, we want to invite everyone to join us in supporting the University of Waterloo's (UW) Men’s Volleyball team in their game against McMaster University on Friday January 24 at 8 p.m. in the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) gym.

The SPHHS GSA is hosting a free barbecue next week on Wednesday, June 11th at 5PM on the BMH Green for SPHHS Graduate Students, Faculty, and Staff.

Wednesday (August 20th) will be the last social event of the school year!!! Please join us at Chainsaw at 4:30 pm for free appetizers and a fun end-of-summer event so we can enjoy the last of the good weather with friends. This is also an opportunity to meet the incoming Masters of Public Health (MPH) students!

That's right, it's almost that time of year again. When talk of what you are going to wear gets creative. Halloween!

The Snow Ball is a semi-formal dinner on Monday, December 1 with entertainment, dance and a raffle to support the Kitchener-Waterloo (KW) Food Bank. The food is sure to be superb as we will be holding the event at Golf's Steak House & Seafood (598 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener).

Come on out for a fabulous evening of fantastic footwear, sizzling strikes and terrific tributes!

Going out for a late-night, green-themed escapade? Or maybe you are staying in and working on your thesis (of course that’s what we’ll be doing….). Regardless of your St. Patrick’s Day plans, you need fuel for that fun!

Come join your peers for free food and good times.

Join us for our first Lunch and Learn of the year with Dr. Kelly Skinner! Dr. Skinner will be sharing her expertise of community-based health and social projects related to food, nutrition, food security, primarily with people living in northern locations in Canada and more recently with Indigenous organizations located in urban settings.
