Michaella is a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health Sciences, specializing in Aging, Health, and Wellbeing. Michaella has both work and lived experience in the health sector with 10+ years of experience working in long-term care, health policy, program implementation, and as a caregiver. Her research interests include improving the living and working conditions within long-term care with a focus on how policy and regulatory practices impact quality of care.
