Graduate Curriculum Committee Representative (Research)
Udani is a MSc student in the SPHS at the University of Waterloo from Sri Lanka. She completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science from Northumbria University, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Edinburgh. She worked as a research assistant in a university in Sri Lanka between her degrees, which piqued her interests in microbiology, immunology and public health, and the writing and statistical aspects of science. Currently, her research interests are in infection, specifically in foodborne diseases. Outside of school, she likes baking, boogie and Beyoncé. Email Udani De Silva.
