Securing a private suite requires a $500 deposit and a signed contract. The deposit will be applied to the last month's rent when due, and tenants will be credited with interest on the deposit in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act.
Students are asked to accept their offer of residence and return a signed Rental Agreement within ten (10) business days of receiving said offer.
Students living in Louis Hall can purchase a meal plan from our food services department. Meals are prepared and served in the Doug Letson Community Centre, located adjacent to Louis Hall.
The optional meal plan has two options:
- Flex Meal Plan with a declining balance: load a minimum of $300 onto a declining balance card and swipe at each meal. Meals are $10 each, and the $300 would entitle you to 30 meals. This is a discount off the retail prices of meals (breakfast - $9.36, lunch - $11.96, and dinner $13.02 +HST).
- Complete Meal Plan – all-you-care-to-eat for the academic term is $3,240. This meal plan provides access to 19 meals per week (Monday to Friday – breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Saturday, Sunday, and Statutory holidays – brunch and dinner are served)
Graduate students will need to purchase the meal plan option in person from the Doug Letson Community Centre. The cafeteria’s hours follow the academic schedule, which is not open between terms.
Methods of payment
