The Waterloo Staff Conference is an annual two-day learning and development opportunity for staff at UWaterloo comprised of employee-led workshops and expert keynote speakers. Hosted by Human Resources's Organizational and Human Development (OHD) team, the conference typically takes place in April, has both in-person and virtual opportunities and is free for all participants.

Upwards of 1500 staff members participate every year, and it’s a wonderful way to explore new topics to learn something new, reflect on your own professional development and connect with staff from across all our campuses.

Our next Waterloo Staff Conference is scheduled for April 8-9, 2025, and registration will open in the winter term.
