The Library is for you too: Resources for work and fun

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Session Description

Sometimes thought of as a resource mainly for students and faculty, the Library’s resources are available to all staff. Resources like electronic newspapers, research journals and trade publications can be helpful for staff doing research in their day-to-day work - or just those who want to read the news over lunch without hitting a paywall. This session will provide an overview of tips and tricks of how to use your Library to your advantage, and a highlight reel of resources staff may find useful or fun in their day-to-day. Whether you're looking for research support, teaching materials, or just a cozy spot to read, the Library has you covered. This is your chance to experience the Library in a new way!

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants will learn about the services and resources available for staff at the Library, how they can access them, and who they can go to for help.
