The Staff Conference team will connect with employee-led session applicants in February 2027 with any next steps.

Applications for proposals are open Fall 2026. Submit your proposal to:

  • Share your knowledge and passion about a topical area with and for staff
  • Gain additional experience with public speaking
  • Connect with other workshop/session facilitators 
  • Receive guidance on your topic and delivery from an OHD learning and development specialist
  • Have a positive impact on the professional development of other Waterloo staff

Volunteer applications will be announced closer to the event. Join our volunteer team to:

  • Connect with and expand your network of Waterloo staff
  • Grow your interpersonal and conflict resolution skills in an event setting
  • Learn about the behind-the-scenes to planning a large two-day conference for 1400+ attendees
  • Receive guidance and training to prepare for a variety of roles from the OHD team
  • Have a positive impact on the professional development experience of other Waterloo staff
