Presentation Awards
To recognize outstanding presentations at the Waterloo Student Conference in Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Finance, six awards valued at $500 CAD each will be presented. Judges appointed by the conference co-chairs and supervising faculty will evaluate presentations based on scientific merit and presentation quality, with additional consideration given to time management. Award recipients will be announced at the conclusion of the conference and will receive both a certificate and monetary prize. All conference speakers are eligible for consideration.
Travel Awards
A limited number of travel awards are available to participants who are external to the University of Waterloo and are presenting at the conference. More information, and how to apply, can be found on our travel awards web form.
