Measuring progress and outcomes
Higher education has gone global, and working towards our goals and objectives in this area requires unwavering commitment and careful planning. As part of the Strategic Plan’s Accountability Framework, the Global Prominence and Internationalization Theme Team identified how the learning and research environment will be measured to ensure it prepares students, faculty and staff to function in an increasingly integrated, global environment.
Solidifying Waterloo’s internationalization of education, support and research requires insight from stakeholders both at home and abroad. The Global Prominence and Internationalization Theme Team seeks this input from a broad range of stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Global prominence and internationalization theme leadership
The Global Prominence and Internationalization Theme Team, led by Ian Rowlands, Associate Vice-President, International, has developed a robust action plan that builds opportunities to solidify Waterloo’s internationalization of education, support and research. These efforts will build Waterloo’s global prominence and ultimately help achieve Waterloo’s strategic goal.
