Strategic Planning at the University of Waterloo

Waterloo at 100 is a long-term strategic vision for the University of Waterloo, taking us to our 100th anniversary in 2057. This vision guides our strategic planning, with University goals set annually against this vision. 

Why a 35-year strategic vision? Going beyond the traditional 5-year strategic planning cycle allows us to anticipate what the future holds for the world and post-secondary education on a longer horizon and to be bolder as we imagine the possibilities for our institution. At the same time, reevaluating goals annually allows us to be nimble and adapt to change more efficiently.
