To me, the Math Strategic Framework is a framework for action.
Each year we review the framework to adjust course if necessary. We establish priority objectives for the coming year, and we take focused action to advance those priorities.
I also see it as a framework for connection.
It connects our decision-making to the broad Waterloo Math community through annual consultation and updates. And it connects our goals to the University’s by identifying where Math is best positioned to contribute to the Waterloo at 100 vision.
I hope you will take some time to review the Math Strategic Framework, consider how it can inform your own work and environment, and share your feedback and ideas for action.
