Math and Business

Business professional typing on a laptop

Mathematics and business go-hand in for accounting, banking, commerce, economics, finance and more. If you love mathematics and want to work in a business-related industry, our mathematics and business programs allow you to merge different fields of mathematics with business studies like accounting, operations, marketing, business policy, and human resources. You'll learn how to solve problems using numbers, patterns, puzzles and symbols to solve problems for the purposes of a business, like analyzing financial health, assessing corporate risk, predicting profits and shares and determining product pricing.

Each of our mathematics and business programs are structured with specialized courses to allow you to pursue a professional designation after graduation. Depending on the program you choose, you may be eligible to pursue a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation. These designations may be required to work in some industries and management positions. Our programs have many required courses and offer few choices of electives to allow you to pursue these options.
