Alumni Achievement Medal (individual)
The Faculty of Mathematics Alumni Achievement Medal program has been established to recognize the accomplishments of Waterloo Mathematics alumni.
This prestigious award, created in 2002, was established to provide tangible recognition of alumni who have distinguished themselves through their professional achievements, community service or academic excellence.
There are three Medal categories in which a graduate may be recognized:
a) Professional achievement - recognizes the accomplishments of Waterloo Mathematics alumni in business, Mathematics/Innovation/entrepreneurship, and/or management.
b) Community service - recognizes the accomplishments of Waterloo Mathematics alumni in a lifetime of volunteer leadership and humanitarian endeavours.
c) Academic excellence - recognizes the accomplishments of Waterloo Mathematics alumni in the pursuit of academic careers and research.
Call for nominations
Friends, family, colleagues, faculty members and other alumni may nominate alumni candidates.
If you know of a worthy UWaterloo Mathematics graduate who, in your opinion, should be considered for a Faculty of Mathematics Alumni Achievement Medal please complete and submit the nomination form online.
Note: Only complete nominations will be accepted.
