Lauren Banks

PhD Candidate

Lauren Banks is a PhD candidate in the Department of Biology at the University of Waterloo. Her doctoral research focuses on evaluating the role of groundwater as a driver of heterogeneity in stream biofilm communities in agricultural streams. Before joining the StrEAMS Lab, Lauren spent 1.5 years working for WorldFish in Malaysia researching sustainable aquaculture. She received her MSc in Environmental & Life Sciences at Trent University, and a BScH in Biology & Environmental Science from Acadia University. You can find her on Twitter @RealityLauren
