The future

The communications landscape has changed. Our student community has changed. And the world we live in has changed. We are passionate about gathering insights from our UWaterloo students that ask questions based on current trends, needs and priorities.  

There are questions that have reported consistent results over the survey’s lifetime, leading us to conclusive results that have allowed us to answer those questions with certainty. It is time to update the questions we ask, the way we ask them and the methods behind our strategy so we can continue to provide impactful and relevant data to you, our campus partners, to serve our students in the best way possible.  

We have comprehensive historical data on several communications topics that we've been asking students about for the past several years. We're excited to launch a new Student Communications Survey in 2025 with questions that will reflect the changes in the communications landscape, the University, and our student community.
