The Student Life Centre (SLC) at the University of Waterloo is managed and operated by the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA), previously Federation of Students. It is a hub of activities and services, open 24/7, all year round. From study spaces to events, club activities, and diverse exhibits, there's something for everyone! Catering to students, staff, and faculty, the SLC provides a casual environment perfect for relaxation, recreation, and recharging. Whether you're looking to study, grab a bite, enjoy a coffee, or hang out with friends, the SLC welcomes you!
The Turnkey Desk is staffed with students who are here to help and know what’s happening with the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA), around campus, and in the community. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and has operated almost continuously since 1968.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
