We are pleased to welcome Morenike Olatunji to the SDSN Canada team as our new Program Coordinator. In this role, Morenike will play a lead in overseeing many of the network's initiatives, including the Teaching the SDGs Community of Practice, the SDGs Localization Community of Practice, and the SDGs in Post-Secondary Institutions Reporting Initiative.
Morenike and her family are newcomers to Canada from Nigeria. She grew up in Lagos, and worked on a number of initiatives to advance the SDGs, including with various NGO’s in Nigeria on legislative and leadership development programs for aspiring female lawmakers in Africa and the "Peace Awards" recognizing projects/initiatives that promote peace across the continent. Morenike has an LLM in International Law from the University of Dundee.
