"Alice?," the first production for the Drama department for 1990, was staged from Wednesday, February 14, to Saturday, February 17, in Hagey Hall 180. It was directed by Simon Johnson, a visiting director who is the artistic director of the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover. The UW production made full use of the "sophisticated subtleties and hidden ironies" of Lewis Carroll's Alice story, says Marjorie Bruce, publicity officer. "This [was] achieved through the clever and innovative staging and interpretation of the ensemble cast."
