The University of Waterloo's Drama Department presented a double bill of Jean Claude van Itallie's Almost Like Being and Edward Albee's The Zoo Story. Directed by Darlene Spencer.
Almost Like Being is an entertaining look at the plasticity of big screen movie personalities and their effect on our reality.
The Zoo Story is about the bizarre meeting the normal. An average Peter is confronted by a somewhat crazy Jerry. Isolation, the search for love, parakeets and pornographic playing cards are all topics of conversation in this powerful comment on humanity.
