Sandy Wilson's song and dance Valentine to the 20's
The DRAMA DEPARTMENT at the University of Waterloo announced that THE BOYFRIEND was that year's major production. A cast of 20 and a 10 piece orchestra filled the stage and pit at the Humanities Theatre. Now all we need is an audience filling the 600+ seats, enjoying the singing and dancing.
Stephen Degenstein, multiple Dora Mavor Moore Award nominee, designed the lavish scenery; Peter deSousa was the Musical director; and Joel Greenberg, award winning director-choreographer and playwright as well as the new chair of UWaterloo's Drama Department, directed and choreographed this show, his favourite musical.
