IAGLR2021: 64th annual Conference on Great Lakes Research

A special session on “Integrated modelling and valuation of ecosystem services in the Great Lakes” is organised by members of the project.

This session will focus on integrated hydro-economic models and non-market valuation methods that address the economic costs and benefits of water quality improvements across the Great Lakes basin to improve and facilitate informed decision-making with regards to surface water quality management. The session aims to address both the costs of achieving proposed nutrient emission reduction policy targets across the Great Lakes basin and the societal benefits obtained from a healthier Great Lakes ecosystem.
