Waterloo Genomics Surveillance Centre (WGSC)

The WGSC enables cutting-edge genomic surveillance, methodology development and research in diverse fields, including biology, microbiology, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, environment and public health at the University of Waterloo. It provides comprehensive services of sample processing and sequencing services for these research and surveillance initiatives. The WGSC has centralized specialized sequencing equipment and has provided access to the broader research community both internally and externally.
