Dr. Chelsea Bray graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2014. She then completed a post-graduate residency program in Cornea and Contact Lenses under the supervision of Dr. Gina Sorbara. Prior to that, she received her Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Ottawa in 2010. Dr. Bray worked in private practice for seven years before joining the faculty at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science as a clinical lecturer in 2022. She became a tenure-track assistant clinical professor in 2025 and is currently the head of the Advanced Contact Lens Service as well as the Cornea and Contact Lens Residency supervisor. Dr. Bray is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is passionate about specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and optometric clinical education.
